As a mother of six children and a previous labor and delivery nurse, I was stumped when my 5 month old baby refused a bottle. I was becoming frustrated. While I love breastfeeding her, I desperately needed to be able to attend meetings and some functions without her in tow. 

Bottles on Purpose for the win! It was a gentle and effective way of teaching her to drink from a bottle, and has given me the freedom I need while still being able to breastfeed her most of the time. Shannon was so supportive and encouraging, and I can’t thank her enough! 

My daughter had been exclusively breastfed until I was preparing to return to work. We had begun trying bottles about 2 weeks prior and she wanted nothing to do with them. I felt like we had tried everything! 

After watching your training videos, I realized we had been doing a lot of things right, but were missing a piece. I decided I would initiate the experience and she took 3 oz on the first bottle! She took 2 more 2 oz bottles during the day, and has already taken 3 oz today.

I am so relieved! I have loved being able to breastfeed and plan to continue, but it’s so nice to know that she will be able to eat well when I can’t be with her.

I was at my wits end, especially since I go back to work next week. After trying 20+ bottles, 2 lactation consultants, 2 occupational therapists, chiropractor, craniosacral therapy, tongue tie revisions I searched ‘bottle refusal’ on Instagram and one of the Bottles on Purpose reels came up.

We are so grateful to have found the Bottles on Purpose program. Our little one started rejecting bottles at 2 months old and we spent the next 2 months trying every solution we could find. After 4 months of not being able to get my baby girl to take a bottle and driving back and forth to daycare to feed her for almost a month, I was desperate. This course gave me my life back! I honestly was so skeptical, but optimistic after talking to Shannon. I'm so happy that I don't have to worry if I am out of the house and someone else can feed her or supplement more from breastfeeding if I don't think she's getting enough.

My baby refused a bottle but after working with Bottles on Purpose she took a bottle for feedings. I had tried lactation consultants, read everything and tried everything before Bottles on Purpose! It had so much information for me and my baby! I didn't feel lost after Bottles on Purpose!
